The Berlin team will integrate seamlessly with different teams around the globe. It will build the core, or heart, of a medical platform that caters to healthcare professionals in 18 different countries. While these markets are now served using different, localized solutions, it is the aim of this team and project to develop a centralized yet international platform that can be localized on-demand.

Think of this as a Start-Up within a well-established organization.

In order to thrive here, you’d bring experience building functional, secure, and technically excellent backends as well as beautiful and intuitive frontends. It is crucial that a senior joining this company keeps the big picture and requirements of the target audience in mind.

The seniority of the role refers to you being an expert and lead on technology and methodology - you’re able and (ideally) have already mentored/coached/empowered team members in principles of software design, clean code, TDD/BDD, and the like.

You’d work in a team setting where your direct partners are the product owner, a DevOps, and a QA. It is crucial that you’re driven by inspiring and leading other developers to deliver amazing software. This involves code reviews, automation, and documentation.

→ Excellent communication skills backed by technical expertise - you pack complex problems in simple terms and present to any audience

→ You thrive on leading other developers

→ Deep familiarity with Javascript/Typescript, Java 10+, MicroServices, RESTful Webservices & APIs, Spring Framework, among others

→ Know the fundamentals of engineering principles, architectural concepts, design patterns, security, performance, and testing

→ You’re a team player, first and foremost

→ You have a valid work permit for Germany and you’re available for two days/week on-site in Berlin

→ Work with International teams who develop awesome software for healthcare professionals

→ The opportunity to work in and shape a newly formed agile team at Germany’s largest healthtech company

→ Modern technologies and the chance to make an impact

→ Standard perks: All the fruit and coffee and mate you can consume, flexible hours, semi-remote work, etc.

→ A clear career path and close mentoring and feedback for you to reach the next milestone
