Our client is a Global Successful and Profitable corporation who are building a Digital HealthTech Innovation Hub in Berlin and they are looking for a key member of their team. Someone who can bring Technology Architecture, Software Engineering, Technology Project and Technical Product Management know-how and make key decisions on all their running HealthTech Products. You will be the person making the decision on what technology and architecture should be used. You will also be managing all the Software builds.

Example projects: Cancer, Dementia and Alzheimer detection, support and life quality betterment Software Tools, Apps and Platforms. All built from the ground up and making real and meaningful impact on thousands of lives every day.

Your role:

  • Develop technical solutions for HealthTech platform projects (including design of software architecture) and make their advantages and disadvantages tangible for the project team before they are implemented.
  • You are responsible for the technical project management of the projects. This includes, for example, the definition of technical requirements, assessment of feasibility and costs, and the creation of roadmaps and project plans.
  • You manage internal and external stakeholders and control projects with our technical implementation partners, whom you also identify if necessary. This also includes testing and acceptance of created software solutions.
  • You evaluate potential partner companies in terms of technical competence, weaknesses, and integration capability (as part of due diligence).
  • You are actively involved in cross-functional strategic discussions and decisions.

Your profile:

  • You have several years of professional experience in Software Architecture, Product and Project Management (ideally in the field of digital health and/or healthcare).
  • You have gained experience in practical experience in the past as Software-engineer and it would not be a problem for you to write or review code in languages like JavaScript, React JS or Angular.
  • You are familiar agile software development and SOA.
  • You have experience in dealing with AWS, Google Cloud or alternatives.
  • Ideally, you have relevant knowledge in the areas of data protection and data security.
  • Knowledge of the medical protocols (FHIR, HL7, ..) and doctor-side systems (HIS, PVS,...) would a big advantage.
  • You communicate fluently in German and English (spoken and written).
