As (Senior) Product Manager, you will be joining a cross-functional mobile product team with a huge mission and a healthy user base, with a lot more room to grow and develop.

You will have a lot of autonomy in what you do, and in return, you will need to show that you can be responsible for the reading, listening and interaction experiences of customers with the goal to increase repeat engagement through connecting curious minds.

  • Discover - Demonstrate excellent product discovery skills to understand customers, gain best possible confidence in what to build next and champion continuous discovery habits throughout the product organization,
  • Take ownership - Fully own, prioritize and shape the backlog, roadmap and vision of your product area based on data, customer insights & feedback, technical requirements, risk and other factors.
  • Measure - Define business and product metrics for your area, understand how they impact our business performance long-term and monitor success over time. Collect and analyze the data needed to test your assumptions and champion a data-driven approach to product development
  • Connect - work closely with cross-functional teams spanning many departments (e.g. marketing, content, partnerships) and become a trusted sparring partner to the members of those teams
  • Collaborate - Work with one other PM on a shared mission
  • Represent - Be the advocate of your product, your customers, and the users within the company to ensure that the right priorities are being worked on across the business and customer interests are appropriately represented
  • Stay lean - prioritize ruthlessly, move quickly, test assumptions and focus on “better” not “more”
  • Do - create documents, run sprints, hold workshops and do whatever is necessary to build the right product for our customers, knowing when to focus on the details and when to zoom out to the big picture
  • Understand - Show a constant curiosity and drive to learn more about our customers' desires, needs, and problems and to uncover, understand and analyze what makes them come back for more. Stay on top of relevant technology and user trends to make sure Blinkist is always thinking ahead of the competition

  • You make smart decisions, you know when process and structure make things easier and when they get in the way
  • You know how to see the big picture, but never forget about the details
  • You’re passionate about the product and stay on top of what’s happening in the product world
